From the Patagonia, you have direct access to the Pal Arinsal chairlift (Arinsal sector). From the Petit Paris, the Funicamp, which takes you to the 215 km of slopes in Grandvalira, is just 800 meters away. From the Mola Park, Eureka, or Cèntric, there is a direct bus to the slopes during the winter season. The Imperial, 9 km away, takes you to Naturland in La Rabassa, where you can enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or other family adventures.
Grandvalira boasts over 215 km of slopes across the Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo, and Encamp sectors. The other two resorts are Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís. In total, there are over 300 km of slopes accessible from the center of the principality in under half an hour.
And it costs less: equipment, clothing and ski passes are cheaper than in equivalent French and Spanish resorts.
It depends on the ski area. If you’re going to Pal Arinsal, the Patagonia is right at the foot of the Arinsal chairlift; you step out of the apartment and you’re in the lift queue. If you’re going to Grandvalira from the Encamp side, the Petit Paris is 800 meters from the Funicamp. And if you prefer to stay in the center with the thermal baths and shops nearby, the Mola Park, Eureka, or Cèntric have direct shuttle buses to the slopes during the season.
